CitSci India 2020: National Conference on Citizen Science for Biodiversity.

This report summarizes the experiences and outcomes of the first national virtual conference on citizen science approaches for biodiversity, hosted as part of the preparatory phase project of the National Mission on Biodiversity and Human Well-being (NMBHWB) from 28 September to 1 October 2020. CitSci India 2020 was a first-of-its-kind conference on citizen science for biodiversity in India. This conference was one of the many outreach programmes conducted by the Biodiversity Collaborative as part of the preparatory phase project of the NMBHWB. The outcome of this conference will influence how the forthcoming NMBHWB will engage with citizen science.
